About Dr Renee Verdon

Renee is a Clinical Psychologist with 23 years of experience across inpatient, community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and private practice. She teaches into the University of Newcastle’s Master of Clinical Psychology program, the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Clinician Program and provides training through the Health Education and Training Institute (HETI). Renee draws on evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, DBT-informed strategies, Maudsley Family-Based Treatment (FBT), and family systems theory. Her clinical expertise includes anxiety, depression, OCD, eating disorders, neurodivergence, and family-focused interventions.
